Home and Construction Calculators
Calculators for measuring and buying materials for home projects: how much concrete to order, how many square feet of flooring or sod you need, and similar jobs. They work in feet and inches, the way US hardware stores sell materials, and each answer shows the arithmetic so you can double-check before you buy.
A tip that applies to almost every project: buy a little extra. Allow 5–10% more concrete for uneven ground and spillage, and 5–15% more flooring or tile for cuts and mistakes. Running short halfway through a job costs more than leftover material. Results are estimates, so check the product's own coverage figures and local building codes for structural work.
